Registered Massage Therapists are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining ideal health and pain-free function of the body. Massage Therapy is an effective approach to pain management and physical rehabilitation. RMTs are effective in treating and providing relief for a wide range of conditions such as stress and anxiety, chronic fatigue, muscle strains, headaches, sports injuries, tendonitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, as well as many other common conditions related to soft tissue and joint dysfunction. Massage Therapy helps relax the nervous system to decrease muscle tension. Techniques used during the treatment place a stretch on soft tissues to re-lengthen shortened, tight areas, and allow for better blood flow and lymphatic drainage. The result is improved flexibility and decreased pain because your muscles will more easily contract and relax, and shorten and lengthen during activity. Through decreasing tension and decreasing muscle tightness, massage therapy enables your body to heal with improved circulation and to return to normal function.

I am grateful and blessed to enjoy my work as a Registered Massage Therapist and be able to help people de-stress, heal from injuries, and be proactive about their health. I grew up in Lindsay, and it has been a pleasure to meet so many people from the Kawartha Lakes area and be a part of their wellness goals.

I knew that my career of choice would be “hands on”, but I didn’t always know just how literal that would turn out to be. The experience of having massage therapy treatments for myself, combined with my interest in physical fitness and anatomy, led me to the decision to go into the field of Massage Therapy. After 3 years of study, I graduated with honours from the massage therapy program at Sir Sandford Fleming College. I am a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and as a Registered Massage Therapist, I hold a certificate of registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

I am experienced in working with a wide variety of clientele and people trust me to be professional and effective with treating their condition. My easy going personality and calm nature lends itself well to making people feel comfortable and relaxed.

I am sincere in wanting to make your massage therapy session an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. When people come to see me, they have a goal of feeling better. My mission is to get people to that goal. I am interested in your desired outcome for treatment and your expectations. This is how I provide quality care. I listen to your specific needs, and combine that with my expertise to get you results.

My clients share their positive outcomes from their massage treatments with family, friends, and co-workers and encourage them to experience for themselves the benefits to their health and well-being that massage therapy can provide. Their recommendation to others to book an appointment with me has been one of the greatest compliments I’ve received.

I am grateful and blessed to enjoy my work as a Registered Massage Therapist and be able to help ... Read More
